About Us
Team Maryland proudly represents our state at the Transplant Games of America. We are a diverse group of transplant recipients, living donors, donor families and supporters who come together to honor the gift of life and raise awareness about the importance of donation and transplantation.
Our Mission
Team Maryland celebrates life, honors the heroes who gave the gift of donation and supports everyone whose lives have been changed by transplant. Team Maryland brings people together to raise awareness, share stories and show what’s possible because of organ, eye and tissue donation.
Our Vision
We believe everyone in need of a transplant deserves a second chance. Our vision is rooted in honoring donor families, expanding access to lifesaving transplants and inspiring communities to register as donors and support the transplant journey. At the heart of it all, we believe in hope, healing and the strength of community.
We are currently recruiting new members to participate in the upcoming 2026 Transplant Games in Denver, Colorado June 18-23. We encourage all recipients, living donors, donor family members and supporters to join Team Maryland! No athletic experience is necessary to participate.
